Welcome to the official homepage of St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Calgary. We are a congregation of 120 families and we typically have a worshiping congregation of seventy-five adults and a Sunday School of between 20 and 30. We range in age from infancy to ninety plus, and come from all walks of life.

Our community was incorporated in 1912. We still worship in the charming wooden church built at that time. Our Sunday morning services are at 8:30 and 10:30 am The 8:30 am service is from the Book of Common Prayer and lasts for forty minutes. The Main Eucharist is ninety minutes long. At this service both traditional hymns and contemporary praise music are incorporated into our Eucharistic Celebration.

Our Sunday School meets in our Parish Hall, which is across the street from the church at 7605 22A Street. It meets during the Main Eucharist. They begin the morning together with a time of worship. After the gathering time the students divide into classes. There is a nursery class, kindergarten and grade one, grades two through four, grades five and six, and junior and senior high. The Sunday School joins the rest of the congregation for Communion in the church proper at 11:40 a.m.

If you have never visited St. Augustine's, we would be honored to welcome you on a Sunday morning at either 8:30 or 10:30 a.m.

It is our hope and prayer that the words of this blessing will ever more reflect how we the people of St. Augustine's live out our faith in Jesus day by day.

"Go forth in the world in peace, be of good courage; hold fast that which is good; render to no one evil for evil; strengthen the fainthearted; support the weak; help the afflicted; honour everyone; love and serve the Lord; rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit; and the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit be with you always."
